Catherine Hanna is an Applied Theater Practitioner, which brings together her roles as a humanitarian, educator, performer and theater-maker. She has a Master's in Educational Theater from New York University and a BA in Sociology and International Development. She works as a freelance facilitator in various settings both nationally and internationally.
Her work emphasizes performance-based methods for professional and personal development, education, cultural exchange, community building, storytelling and original theater performance-making.
Catherine spent six years developing and directing a Teacher Exchange program in Uganda and started a girl's Art's for Empowerment program in Kibera, Kenya.
